1. Who we are
ServCopilot ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI website assistant ("copilot") that helps home-service businesses capture leads and book appointments. This policy explains what we collect through our website at www.servcopilot.com and what we do with it. Questions? Email hello@servcopilot.com.
2. Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, and your message. We also record the date, time, and IP address of the submission for spam prevention and security.
Live chat / demo. If you interact with our chatbot demo, the messages you type are processed to respond to you. Don't share sensitive personal information in the chat.
Analytics (if enabled). We may use privacy-light analytics (such as Plausible or Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked, in aggregate. See "Cookies & analytics" below.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and provide a quote or setup call.
- To set up, deliver, and support the service if you become a client.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the site secure.
- To improve our website and offering in aggregate.
We do not sell your personal information or your customers' data.
4. How we store and protect it
Form submissions are emailed to us and backed up to a private log on our hosting that is not publicly accessible. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share information only with service providers that help us operate — for example, our web host and email provider (used to deliver your message), and, if enabled, our analytics provider. These providers process data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our core site does not require advertising cookies. If we enable cookie-based analytics, we will display an appropriate notice. Privacy-light analytics (like Plausible) do not use cookies or track you across sites. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted by emailing hello@servcopilot.com. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights, such as the right to object to or restrict processing, or to data portability. We will honor applicable requests.
8. Data retention
We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can request deletion at any time.
9. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
